At Christmas time, on behalf of our entire community,
we wish you a Joy that will not be extinguished
by the adversities and difficulties of our lives.
It is the joy coming from the truth
that, as Saint Paul says in Philippians 4:5, “the Lord is near”,
he has become one of us.
He brings into our human world the light
that overcomes the darkness of sin, injustice and suffering.
May the coming Messiah give us the courage and strength to resist evil.
May He help us end the wars that are devastating our humanity
and our human world.
May God’s love embrace us and our families, our homes, and our countries.
